The Stone

The Stone

Gems

It is our supreme goal to bring out the best in every gem we cut.

It is crucial to the best appearance of a stone that it is cut in the right proportions, perfect angles and pattern of facets.  A meticulous polish then makes a stone a sparkling gem.

We supply a variety of single stones in all kinds of classic and contemporary shapes and cutting styles, some with particular and unusual faceting.

All our stones are natural. Some stones may undergo treatment to improve the color, clarity or even make the stone facetable.

This can be the case with very brittle and soft material - mainly in the collector's stones range. Many of the treatment processes have been common practice for more than a hundred years. If you have any questions about treatments please ask us.

Our carved gemstones are hand-crafted individually and with a unique design. We use traditional carving tools made of diamond sintered metal much like a dentist uses.
